The Princess Treble series of Applications takes children through the process of learning the basics of music theory concepts, using storytelling/fairytale techniques. The first App in the series, Princess Treble and Melody Town, introduces children to the concepts of Tempo and Dynamic.
The Applications include educational interactive activities to consolidate the knowledge of learned. These provide an opportunity for the young children to practice what they have learned.
The rhyming fairy tale teaches children music theory and takes them to the magical world of musical symbols. Once they get to know Melody Town, Treble Castle, and the characters, children will feel the magic every time they look at their music sheets!
The colouring activity presents a colouring pallet with a host of colours and finishes that that can be used to colour the image. Several images are provided with built-in features that can facilitate free-hand colouring, or colouring within the borders, and background colouring.
The connect the dots presents musically themed images that be completed by touching the screen and drawing the lines to connect them.
The images on the jigsaws are based on the characters in the App. The level of complexity can be changed to the number of pieces that make up the jigsaws, and can be assembled using “slide’n’drag” features.
The complexity level of the mosaic can be set by choosing the number of pieces, and they can be assembled using “slide’n’drag” features.
